This acrylic painting is about Taoism, the way in which one does something. I made this piece based on a story about a Taoist monk while meditating unconsciously grabbed a brush and started making circular marks on a paper and as he became aware of what he was doing the mark became more controlled. Lastly, as the monk became conscious the painting like mine above gain highlights, form. This painting is about the way.
